SOLUTION

Painting Contractor:  Long Painting

Problem: The painting industry is competitive, and subject to seasonal fluctuations. Long Painting won a contract late in the painting season. They needed a custom mobile solution, but they needed it quickly.

SAFE Solution: Since SAFE Systems pioneered portable equipment, they were able to create and deliver a custom solution in the time it would take other vendors to produce a stock piece of equipment. The painting contractor was able to increase their productivity and to complete a contract that, without SAFE's responsiveness, they would have had to forego.
Cooper Nuclear

Problem: Cooper Nuclear facilities needed to meet the stringent maintenance requirements of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in order to retain its license. Part of the requirement was to resurface and repaint the inside of the reactors. Disposing of materials exposed to radiation was a major concern and cost consideration for Cooper Nuclear.
The length of downtime was another grave concern.

SAFE Solution: SAFE Systems specializes in equipment that utilizes recyclable abrasive blasting media which translated into a big cost savings for Cooper Nuclear. SAFE provided Cooper Nuclear a custom solution that reduced expensive radioactive waste. SAFE’s solution boosted blasting productivity so that the reactor could be brought back on line faster, with less disruption of operations.
Boeing

Problem:
Boeing’s older abrasive blast systems leaked abrasive into a pit or onto the floor leaving a large mess of expensive wasted abrasive.

SAFE Solution: SAFE Systems provided a custom vacuum recovery system to recover and return abrasive back to the original system at an economical price. The equipment meets all of Boeing’s stringent specifications while being compact enough to fit in the existing remaining floor space.
Alcatani Pipeline, Saudi Arabia

Problem: Over time, pipelines age and become vulnerable to leaks. In the oil and gas industry, such leaks can spell economic as well as environmental danger.

SAFE Solution: SAFE Systems developed a specialized blast nozzle that allowed pipes to be refurbished in place, rather than replaced. The cost and operational savings of this technology illustrate the high rate of return customers rely on from SAFE Systems.
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard

Problem: In the past, ships refurbished in dry docks were a source of water pollution. The Navy subsequently increased their environmental controls and set stringent requirements for waste management for shipyards.

SAFE Solution: SAFE Systems both met and exceeded the Navy's environmental regulations by designing a highly efficient recovery system which removed the water pollution risks and increased blasting productivity. The SAFE solution was both cost efficient and environmentally sound, allowing the Navy to meet both their budgetary and environmental goals.
