Ventilation and dust collection must be an integral part of any blast facility. Ventilation serves to remove the dust that a blasting operation produces. Removing this dust aids in keeping visibility as high as possible in the room and surfaces as clean as possible.

The dust collector is generally located close to the blast enclosure to minimize the distance the dust must be transported. Using reverse pulsing, cartridge filter dust collectors are a good way to effectively trap the dust so it can be disposed of properly. Environmental regulations generally require a "clean air plan" for any blasting operation, whether in a fixed facility, an outdoor location or on a job site.

Higher efficiency filters are available in most styles now. If your clean air plan requires you to utilize more efficient filters, we will be happy to quote those for you.
