General lighting in a blast facility is crucial.  The blaster must be able to see well to perform well and safely.  SAFE Systems designs blast facilities so the lighting is placed where it will be most effective and we protect the lighting with polycarbonate lenses.  When the lexan, or polycarbonate, lens becomes fogged by the abrasive hitting it, you can easily replace that lens.

Hose mounted blast lights are used much like a flashlight would be.  The blast light brightly illuminates the immediate work area so the blaster can be sure he gets the surface profile the job requires.
